Many people believe that prices are staying the same and then accuse others of duping them after spending a significant sum of money. Dangote Cement

Dangote Cement Plc is the largest cement firm in Sub-Saharan Africa, with a manufacturing capacity of 48.6 million tonnes per year spread over ten countries.

Dangote Cement Plc is a leading indigenous cement corporation in Sub-Saharan Africa, pushing cement sales in up to ten nations across the continent, with Aliko Dangote, a businessman, and billionaire, as its founder.

Dangote Cement is a subsidiary of Dangote Industries, which was created in 1981 as a trading company specializing in the importation of bagged cement and other commodities such as rice, sugar, flour, and salt. The Group began importing bulk cement into its Apapa and Port Harcourt terminals over time, which is then bagged for distribution.

The Group made a strategic decision in the 1990s to shift from a trading-based firm to a fully integrated manufacturing enterprise. It was at this stage that their ambitious quest to become Africa’s foremost cement producer started. To date, Dangote Cement remains the leading cement producer in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa as a whole.

It started producing bagged cement in June 2005 at its Bagging Terminal in Bundu Ama, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Eastern Bucklem is a subsidiary of Ibeto cement company limited and it also imports bulk cement and bags it in its factory in Rumuolumeni, Shoreline, Rivers state. Nigeria Cement Corporation Plc (NIGERCEM), Nkalagu, Ebonyi State, is also owned by this company.
